I bought a set of Scott Pruitt tires today. They are oil – based, aggressively grabby and grasping, and bad for the environment* and, from day one, they are covered in shit.
* I use the ATV to haul hay to cattle in the winter, and to pull irrigation equipment in the summer, along with a host of other farm projects. I don’t use the ATV for any of the awful recreational trail – destroying, animal – terrifying stuff you see in the ads. Nevertheless, I recognize that I do compact the soil, even with the very low – pressure tires. I justify this by convincing myself that I am sequestering carbon in the soil through proper pasture and forest management. That shit you see is part of the management plan. (As it may be, within the Scott Pruitt administration.)
